Industrial park in Mogi das Cruzes
A total of 347 factories are located here, among them large companies such as General Motors, Valtra do Brasil, NGK, Aços Villares and Kimberly-Clark. The prime location, privileged logistics, bold development policy, excellent available sites, and qualifi ed labor, created by the presence of large universities and technical schools, are drawing ever more companies to the city, making Mogi one of the most important industrial centers in the State of São Paulo.
Sites for new companies
Mogi has over 15 million square meters available for the establishment of new factories. These areas offer good infrastructure and logistics for large- medium- or small-scale enterprises. For small companies, City Hall has created Industrial Nuclei. In the Cezar de Souza District, some companies are already up and running. The next district to receive an Industrial Nucleus will be Jundiapeba.

Technology
Agreements between Mogi das Cruzes City Hall and Fiesp [State of São Paulo Federation of Industries], Ciesp [State of São Paulo Industry Center], Sebrae [Brazilian Service to Support Small Companies], universities, and Senai [National Service for Industrial Learning], among other institutions, allowed the creation of Intec Mogi – Technological Incubator, which develops several projects of great innovation.
Incentives
Mogi follows a modern legislation, which includes signifi cant benefi ts to business owners who invest in the city, such as tax exemption or benefi ts and property donations. But City Hall support extends beyond this. Its Administration department makes available a team of qualifi ed professionals who can offer logistic support during all phases of implementation, from the identifi cation of sites compliant with the city’s zoning laws, to the qualifi cation and selection of workers.
TABOÃO INDUSTRIAL DISTRICT

This is the only area available throughout the São Paulo Metropolitan Region for establishment of large industries. A total of 15 million square meters are available, enough to house 80 large companies. With the actions undertaken by City Hall to attract new enterprises, the district is developing tira itself and creating new jobs. Three million square meters are currently occupied by 17 industries, among them General Motors, Cimento Tupi and Wessanem do Brasil.
